Ohayo ! I’m a small French samurai who is passionate about design wishing to share his discoveries and passions through this blog.
About page has always been problematic for me… At least, know what to say about itself without appearing boring ! Whether for blogs, websites where I put my work or social networks.
Who?
My name is Kevin and Tsukimori is my nickname/username. In reading these first lines, you had to guess I loved Japanese culture ! I discovered this culture through manga (Tsubasa, Patlabor, Goldorak and many others) and video games. But in recent years, I focused on culture and Japanese history. I must admit that now interests me more than what allowed me to discover the country.
And thanks to Japan, I am also interested in other Asian countries such as South Korea, Taiwan, for example.
Besides that, I’m Freelance Graphic Designer 2D/3D since few years. You can find my different work on my portfolio and my lab.

About Sketchbook
Firstly, I will use it as a logbook. I write articles to centralize my watch and you share it ! Subjects will be quite varied, but it will be mainly around design, art.
Tsukimori’s Sketchbook is a place where the imagination takes shape accompanied with my mascots Noru, Ryota and Taku.
The website will be constantly changing during the year with projects in different fields such as illustration inspired once in a while by events like Halloween and end of the year holidays, typographical tests, photography, 3D concepts, etc.

And what am I doing on this blog ?
Firstly, I will use it as a logbook. I write articles to centralize my watch and you share it ! Subjects will be quite varied, but it will be mainly around design, art.
In the long term, I’m going to create tutorials for my YouTube channel on software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro X for example. Then I’ll transcribe the text on this blog !
And finally, I’ll write some articles on Japan and South Korea. Don’t see here a blog about all news as is done many others websites, but I will share articles about some things that I find interesting or ways to learn languages !

As I said a little earlier, I am freelance graphic designer and I like entrepreneurship. That is why I am always looking for new projects !
My dream is to work in collaboration with other artists or not on ideas and/or projects to approach French culture with that of Japan and South Korea !!!
